The Master’s Program in Fisheries Science (MIP) at Universitas Gadjah Mada is a postgraduate study program committed to producing professional experts in the fields of fisheries and marine science, aiming to address the challenges of sustainable utilization of fishery resources. Located in Yogyakarta—a multicultural and affordable educational city—this program is supported by over 50 years of experience from the Department of Fisheries UGM in higher fisheries education, comprehensive facilities, a curriculum based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) and international standards, as well as an extensive network of collaborations at both national and global levels.
